Week Twenty One: Falling off the Grid

July 16, 2017

Hey team, I’m gonna be honest with you, I fell off the grid. The reality is I’ve been under a lot of stress at work and keeping up with my social media and writing my book has been overwhelming. I got a little burnt out and needed some me time. I’m sorry for disappearing like that!

Here’s the deal, it’s really hard to achieve such a big goal when you are also trying to live your regular life. Doesn’t it feel like the system is working against you sometimes? I mean, 40 hours of your week is spent working for someone else and another 10 is spent commuting. Not to mention the time you need to commit to eating, cleaning your house, and sleeping. So frankly, I got a bit burnt out.

So instead of writing I binge watched Netflix and snuggled with my cats. I did some laundry and watched a movie with my husband. All in hopes that I would be ready to come back and push harder than ever, and I’m pretty sure I am.

Emese and I have decided to start a daily writing challenge for our books! So you’ll notice that I added a little grid on my home page to track my weekly progress so you can follow along! I’ll also be posting updates on my Instragram story if you want to follow me @writing_is_hard.

I appreciate all of the love and support from each one of you who take time out of your day to read my posts and follow my progress. You are all so dear to me, thank you! Please do not stop cheering me on! This next month is going to be exciting.

Until next time here’s an inspirational quote to get you through:
